Family Fostering Partners is an independent fostering agency that works with a range of young people and foster carers across Wales to create happy, healthy and secure lives for vulnerable children and young people. We are pleased to say that we have been ranked a Tier 1 agency on the All Wales Framework for the last four years running. This achievement is entirely owed to our incredible team of staff, foster parents and link workers who work hard to create an unmatched family environment here in Wales!

For the benefit of the children within in Wales, we work closely with Foster Talks, which delivers training, research, and advice, aiding the service we ourselves provide. Their unparalleled expertise and knowledge help support excellence and success in foster care by providing us and foster carers with a helping hand.

How can you make a difference?

While there are already approximately 3,800 foster families in Wales, there is a growing demand for hundreds of new families to support the number of vulnerable foster children entering the care system every year. Data released for last year outlines that on the 31st of March 2021, 5,070 children were living with foster families in Wales. This is 70% of the 7,265 children in care looked after away from home. So as you can see, statistically, we are dependent on foster families who can provide loving homes to allow children and young people to grow and develop as any child should. This is why Family Fostering Partners is driven by a duty to provide the very best care for these young people and support foster carers in any way they may need.
