Yesterday we announced that we will be attending the Royal Welsh Show for the first time and today we’re excited to announce that our busy schedule of summer events includes the National Eisteddfod which this year will be held in Cardiff.
For those of you who are not familiar with the National Eisteddfod it is one of the largest cultural events in Europe with competitions, exhibits, exhibitions, concerts and shows. This year the Eisteddfod comes to Cardiff Bay, the Roald Dahl plaza will be jammed packed full of interesting this to do and visit. To make things even better the Eisteddfod will be free to enter, therefore it’s the perfect day out for you, your family and friends.
Obviously, the Eisteddfod is synonymous with the Welsh language and consequently we are excited to be able to bring Buttons and Blue our fostering mascots with us. If you are yet to watch our videos, then you can find them here on our YouTube page. If you would like to read more about or Welsh language commitment as an agency, then follow this link. The Eisteddfod will also be another chance for you to see our newly designed Elevan which now includes even more elephants and of course our Buttons style spots!
Further information on the Eisteddfod and how to get to the event can be found on their official website. We already know that our Elevan will be parked near the beautiful Norwegian church which is just by the water front near the old Dr Who experience centre in Cardiff bay. Therefore, if you want a warm cup of tea or coffee and you would like the chance to ask our highly experienced staff about fostering, why not pop in for a quick chat and a cuppa?
It goes without saying that if you can’t wait until the 4th-11th of August to learn more about fostering and how to become a foster carer you can always get in contact with us through email (info@familyfosteringpartners.co.uk), by using the online chat box on our website, by filling in the form below or by phoning 01267 232228. And remember to keep checking our website for more information about our summer events across South Wales.
