Spring into action at one of our events

Spring is finally in the air with its longer days, warmer air and new born animals. It is a season of change, and if you too are feeling the need to review your priorities, what better time to consider a change of career whist at the same time, making a difference to a young person’s life.

So, if you want to find out more about fostering, or would simply like to meet our team, we would love to see you at one of our events where you can enjoy an informal chat. They will be ready to answer any questions you have about fostering and how it can help transform the lives of vulnerable local children.

6th May – Cross Hands

From 12.30 pm – 3.pm we will be in the foyer of the Co-Operative store in Cross Hands. The store is just off the A48 in the Cross Hands Business Park.

20th May - Crundale Hall, Haverfordwest

20th May - Cardigan Castle

(from 1pm - 3pm)

29th May - Llys Y Fran Reservoir, Haverfordwest

Not only will we be at this location from 10 am to 4pm but we will also be taking time-out to participate in the Dragon Boat Race which is a part of the Family Fun day that is to be held there. The day is being held to raise money for a local cancer charity the Paul Satori Foundation.

Family Fostering Partners will have a boat in the race. There are 16 people in each boat plus a drummer at the front to keep us in time, and ours will be filled with staff carers and young people……..Judith will be on the bank (due to her fear of water!!) cooking a BBQ for the team’s triumphant return.

18th and 19th July - Pembrey Country Park, Nr Llanelli.

We will have a stand at the two day Welsh Game Fair in Pembrey Country Park, Nr Llanelli. This is a fantastic event, filled with displays, exhibitions and fun. We will be there from 10am to 4 pm. Naturally,by its very nature, the event is dog friendly so you can bring the family pet along (provided it is a dog of course!).

We will also be doing a car boot sale (date to be confirmed) at Carew Market.
