The team expands

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Anne-Marie Evans who joins Family Fostering Partners as a Senior Supervising Social Worker. Originally from the Swansea area, Anne-Marie now lives with her husband, their three year old daughter and one year old son in the Ammanford area , where she will be a familiar face to many foster parents and children in the region.

Her appointment reflects the expansion of Family Fostering Partners into the Neath Port Talbot area. A key part of Anne-Maries role will be identifying and recruiting new foster carers in this area to help meet the demand caused by the numbers of vulnerable children in care. The balance of her time will be spent supporting foster families.

Anne-Marie has worked in child protection within Rhondda Cynon Taff and Neath Port Talbot since qualifying in 2007, and has also worked for an independent fostering agency before taking up her new role with Family Fostering Partners.

So why has Anne-Marie chosen to join Family fostering Partners? Anne-Marie said “I am really excited about being able to work with carers in an inclusive and focused and way and being an important extension of their family support network. I was attracted to Family Fostering Partners by the fact that they are an exciting and innovative agency who understand the importance of a personal, professional service and are able to appreciate the difference this makes to foster carers and the benefit it brings to the children in their care”
