For the first time in a while, we at Family Fostering Partners enjoyed a sunny day during one of our regular activity days, spending it at the wonderful Brynteg Farm and Animal Sanctuary, a hidden gem in Llanelli. If you foster in Llanelli or are considering fostering in Wales, Brynteg Farm is an absolute must-visit!
Our fantastic host, Phillip, welcomed us and shared the incredible work they do at Brynteg Farm, including animal therapy for wellbeing and summer schools. Everyone had the chance to
meet and feed the animals, offering a hands-on, engaging experience for the foster families, our staff, and the children in our care.
Phillip and Zara's passion for the farm and its residents shone through every aspect of our visit. We began our day meeting guinea pigs (Ronaldo and Neymar Jr.) and continued
with Lionhead Rabbits, Goats, Tortoises, Horses, Alpacas, Donkeys, Chickens, and even a micro pig! While seeing the animals was delightful, the highlight was watching the children smile and reconnect with friends from previous fun days.
Brynteg Farm is a sanctuary dedicated to animal welfare and therapy. Their mission is to provide a safe haven for rescued animals while offering therapeutic experiences to visitors. Phillip and Zara's dedication to their animals and the community is truly inspiring. Their work with animal therapy underscores the farm’s commitment to enhancing the well-being of both animals and people, making it a must-visit for those fostering in Llanelli and anyone fostering in Wales.
